Is the work done locally, or is it sent to Chennai?
Both places are one team on the same codebases, the same review practice and the same written standards. Which engineer picks up your project depends on the skills it needs, not on which town the request came from.
Are you more expensive than a local freelancer?
Usually yes, and that is the honest answer.
